CAREER
Matt began his guiding career at the age of 18 up on the pristine waters of Great Bear Lake in Canada's Northwest Territories. While making his living guiding anglers and hunters all over Canada, he developed a love for guiding, instructing and the joy of living vicariously through his customer's success.
ANGLING PURSUITS
With a lifetime of angling passion passed down to him by his father, Matt has sought game fish all over the world. In doing so he was afforded the opportunity to also be a client rather than always the guide. By gaining this unique perspective he was able to refine his approach to guiding with the primary focus on service and customer care. That approach remains the cornerstone of his outfitting operations today.
TODAY
Now in his 27th season as a professional guide, Matt finds himself the owner & president of Bruin Outfitting and Icebound Excursions Inc where he sets the customer service bar ever higher with each season. He and his team of experienced guides are confident that your trip with Bruin or Icebound will be a success.
